Encounters: an unprecedented blend of fabrics, materials and colours

Our installation this year is dedicated to the concept of encounter. We have developed it in its most textured form: as an interwoven scenario of fabrics, materials and colours. We are accustomed to taking our furniture out into nature; here, we have done the opposite: we have taken nature into our furnished environment, expressing one of its most profound dynamics. (Marco Levrangi, CEO).

Fast is attending the 2019 edition of the Salone del Mobile with a larger booth than in previous editions of the show, where the brand can replicate that feeling of well-being one normally experiences out in the open, surrounded by nature: shades of blue, green, grey and terracotta constitute the fil rouge within the exhibition space and create a welcoming, comfortable island for the presentation of the brand’s many new products.

Four collections of seats and tables designed by Studio Lievore Altherr and a collection of tables and poufs by Robby Cantarutti & Partners make up the product highlights. Moreover, Fast presents restyled versions of successful collections such as Joint, the extension of the Aikana line of padded products and, above all, new materials, colours and finishes applied across the entire Fast collection.

12 fabrics, 7 colours and 2 innovative finishes, available for both the new products and the existing collections, supplement the already comprehensive offering, making not just a greater number of standard products available, but also taking another leap forward in the direction of maximum customisation. This has always been one of the acknowledged strengths of Fast, which is capable of producing variants and customisations with flexibility, accuracy and extremely reduced time frames. From now on, the brand can therefore look forward to a further strengthening of its share of the contract market, which is not just a commercial strategy but also the spontaneous outcome of a spot-on approach.
